Full-service event planning from RicoLayer Events comes with theme creation, event design consultations, itinerary and guest list creation, vendor research and selection, and so much more!
The prime time for booking our services is at least 8 months prior to your event. This allows you to space out payments if necessary.
We will be coordinating your event in phases. So, the more time you allow for the planning process, the smoother the process will be for both parties.
There are many benefits to beginning your planning early.
Although we do have a network of vendors that we work with, if a client already has a preferred vendor that they would like (to hire or get products from), we will be using that vendor since the ultimate choice is for the client to make.
We believe in tailoring services to fit our clients' needs. With that being said there are certain types of events in which we do not service for example: large conferences and weddings.
If you have an event that is not on our list, I am happy to discuss if it is a service we can provide. If not, we can recommend other event planners in the area that specialize in that type of event.
All communication throughout the planning process will be conducted through the Honeybook platform, emails, phone calls, and Zoom sessions. We utilize Honeybook to present proposals, submit invoices, and update you on event updates.
We are aware that some people will not always have access to the Honeybook platform, so we also utilize email correspondence and Zoom sessions to keep you abreast of where we are in the planning process and to present planning options to you.
Honeybook is a customer relationship management tool (CRM) that houses all aspects of the event planning process from customized client proposals, invoices, project updates, and more!
We use Honeybook to store all of your project files and once you have access, you will always be able to go in and see all of your event details. This means that you don’t have to worry about downloading files to your phone and can save storage.

As a client of RicoLayer Events, you will have payments that can be broken down into bi-weekly or monthly payments after paying your deposit of 25% of your total budget or planning fees.
Although there is no maximum for the budget of your event, there will be a minimum that each potential client must agree to before they can be confirmed. The minimum will be determined by your event type.
All payments must be submitted no later than 1 month out from your event.
YES! All clients will be able to select the payment schedule that works bestforh them. Payments can either be paid on a bi-weekly or monthly basis.

The prices you see on the website cover planning/coordination fees only. We are, however, prepared to help you deal with vendor payments.
There are two options for clients when it comes to paying vendors.
Many clients prefer to set a maximum budget to include vendors and then pay in installments. Those payments will go toward paying vendor and venue fees.
For clients that prefer to pay vendors themselves, those costs will not be included in our price. In this case, we will be available to help manage those vendor contacts and contracts.
If your event extends outside the agreed-upon timeframe, there will be an extra charge ($100/hr) to be paid via invoice post-event. With this in mind, vendors will only be available for their agreed-upon contract and may not be able to be extended.

For in-person game nights, you will have a choice of board games, card games, minute-to-win-it games, lawn games, and classic games such as poker, Pictionary Scattegories, and more!
All games will be rented for each event and vendor or rental fees will apply.
For virtual game nights, you have a choice of Jackbox TV games.
Virtual game nights are BYOB, but in-person game nights have the option of hiring a bartender or drink vendor to serve drinks. If you elect this option, any beverage you wish to have at your event will be a separate cost.
Yes, we certainly can! Our price for either day-of or full-service coordination will remain the same, but having the event in your home will allow you to spend those funds on our fees, event design fees, or vendor fees.
For community events, vendor selection will depend on the purpose of the events. Many of the events will focus on vendors who are handcrafters, photographers, painters, graphic illustrators, sculptors, etc.
All interested parties will be invited to fill out the current vendor survey for the event. This can either be emailed to interested parties or by clicking on the survey link if they see it on an event post.
For vendor events, the table costs will vary based on the event costs. But it is always our goal to have a low cost of entry for vendors so that your ROI will be maximized.
